Amanda was admitted to practice law in North Carolina in 2013 and immediately thereafter joined the firm’s commercial transactions and land use practice.  In addition to acquisitions and financing, Amanda assists clients through all phases of the entitlement and development process.

Prior to law school, she worked as a city planner in Raleigh and Cary, North Carolina before moving to the private sector as a land use consultant to developers and builders.  Her eight years of planning experience led Amanda to go to law school in order to focus on additional aspects of real estate and land use such as acquisition, financing, and leasing.  While in law school, Amanda served as Fellow to the Zoning, Planning, and Land Use Section of the North Carolina Bar Association and authored an article for the publication Land Use Quarterly entitled “The Re-emergence of Livestock in the Suburban Landscape.”

Amanda grew up in Greensboro and is excited to be back in town with her husband and children.
